As part of the Urania lecture series “Wege in eine ökologische und gerechte Gesellschaft” (paths to an ecological and just society), Tim Jackson gives a presentation on Prosperity without Growth and discusses the vision of a thriving society within ecological limits. The debate is moderated by Marcus Franken, editor if the taz magazine zeo2.
About
Urania e.V. is a scientific society founded in Berlin in 1888. Its aim is to communicate the most recent scientific findings to the broad public. With its 2000 members, Urania organizes more than 1000 events per year. Since its centenary in 1988, the society has awarded the Urania Medaille annually to individuals who have supported significantly the implementation of its aims.
